Catalyst Together
So, we’ve wrapped up the Catalyst conference and can’t seem to figure out how to express how excited we are about this. Seriously, we talked to thousands of people and there was a huge buzz about us around the conference. BUT, more importantly than all that, tons and tons of churches, non-profits and small businesses have discovered and expressed the need for this type of service.
You know, the theme of Catalyst this year was this idea of “Together”. This idea that if we can do things together, and join forces, then things will be different and things will be better and things will be effective. Well, that’s why we started this organization. We want to do this Together, with you, enabling you to focus. As most of you know, my wife and I started a church and have been in the shoes of those of you wearing several different hats. Starting a church is an amazing experience, but it proved to us the need to do things Together! That’s why we’re doing what we’re doing! We’ve been in your shoes and we recognize the need!
Our theme of the conference was to WASH YOUR HANDS of Accounting. The idea that we can do this together, but you need to take a step out and wash your hands of this responsibility. By washing your hands of this responsibility, we believe that this will allow you to focus on your KEY responsibilities. We believe that if you stay focused on those KEY responsibilities, then your organization will be most effective in accomplishing your goals and mission. It’s a difficult step, we know that. It’s hard to make changes! It’s hard to allow other people into your “world”. However, as we’ve been saying for the last few weeks, in the same way that washing your hands is the single most important way you can keep from getting sick and spreading illness, we believe that washing your hands of Accounting and Administration is one of the most important ways you can keep your organization from losing focus and becoming stagnant.
Oh yeah, don’t forget to check back on Thursday, October 16th when we announce the winner of the Apple TV!

I had the chance to be at Catalyst again this year (my 4th time) and was challenged and encouraged as always. It’s always so encouraging being around other leaders and seeing what God is doing in His church around the world.
